I took me way too long, mainly because I was using wrong disasm tool (cutter). With IDA it was immediately solved.

i can't crack this.. disassembled .. found the variable that it's comparing to, converted from hex to dec but it doesn't seem to work.

My Ghidra didn't display the value, so I had to use gdb to solve this.

after solving a lot of kcbowhunter re challenges this one was a piece of cake xd

For this challenge, I motivated myself to use ghidra for the first time.

Conclusion: the decompiler makes this easy. :)
