wasted a hell lot of time as it was my first time, quick tip, always first try to figure out how many boxes are there in qr, 21x21 or 25x25 or 29x29, then arrange the qr accordingly..

Use Sonic Visualiser if Audacity didn't work for you (I spent 15 minutes adjusting it trying to scan it), Sonic Visualiser works immediately
