took me the most time a i thought it might be better to learn assembly or this challenge <sed emoji>x3 ... but a fun challenge... took some head scratching and the answer appered suddenly out of frustration when i just kept pressing enter..

using gdb with gef makes this a breeze. I was stuck with plain gdb too.

Maybe you can patch this..?

It's was good RE challenge. Myself being a beginner, I found this interesting. As for the tools, I found the interface of ghidra a little overwhelming and I stumbled upon a new tool "Cutter"while googling. It also uses ghidra and radare2 in the background but it much better to use.
